Four years later

The room was dark. Moonlight streamed through a broken window, dust floating over the white sheets that covered the old portraits.

In the corner of the room there was a unconscious body brushed all over the skin a dark burned mark on the palm, the room was too quite like walls begging to break the silence.

The door crack open a shadow apread on the unconscious body.

"That's.... that's what happened when you you try to take what's someone else." A cruel laugh filled in the room like mocking at the unconscious body.

Aarohi gasped breathing heavily sweat dripping from her forehead she is having this nightmare since two years, the red mark make her Shiver slightly despite of herself.

She don't know why she is having this nightmare, why from two years ago,

She sit up on the bed wiping the sweat from her forehead taking deep breath to clam herself down.

After getting fresh she went downstairs for breakfast, as she reached in the dinning area she heard a familiar name that make her stop on her track.

"Rajdeep is coming back." Aarohi's heart skips a beat she didn't hear is name in this two years, not after what she saw that day but why he disapepre ?"

She shok her head she didn't want to think about him she took seat and started eating her breakfast silently

As she reach hospital stepped out of the car and close the door

"Aarohi." She turned around after hearing her name.

"Ritu." She greeted with smile ritu smiled back as she stopped infront of her.

They both stepped in the hospital at reception there few nurses whispers about something or someone ?

She look at ritu who look back at her with confused couristy got them and they both walk towards the reception

'What's going on?" The nurses paused whatever their discussing and turned to aarohi and ritu.

"There is urgent surgery." One of nurse begen. " But the required surgeon isn't present."

Aarohi and ritu look at each other before turning back at the nurse

"So what now?" Ritu asked the nurse.

"The hospital may call surgeon from another hospital to come ," The nurses responded,

before adding. " And perform the surgery."

Do you know who might her/ him?" Aarohi asked.

And before the nurse could reply urgent footsteps rushed in the hospital

The group of girls turned around aarohi's breath stop it the moment she saw him - rajdeep and the special surgeon?

Ritu nudged aarohi's elbow but aarohi's eyes fixed where he disappeared.

Is he is the surgeon?" The nurses whispers forced aarohi back to the reality

" Is it really him?" The questions started wondering in her mind Four years should have been enough to forget him. Yet the moment she saw Rajdeep again, every memory came rushing back.

She shok her head forcing herself not to think about him not now not never when he already have someone else in his life, but why she still feeling this way even after four years shouldn't she forgets about him but did she ever tried to forget him?

"Stop it aarohi." She scolded herself mentally.

After seven long hours aarohi passing from the operation theatre room with some files at the same time, the operation theatre door open rajdeep walked out she stopped deadly on her track as her eyes fall down on him.

As he walked the patient family who was probably holding their breaths

He said something that makes the family shoulders relax and relief wash over their face Rajdeep give them a polite smile before turning to leave.

But stopped when he saw her standing there with files her eyes fixed on him and something flashed in her eyes before she masked with neutral expression and passed him without second glace or before he even say something.

He blinked his eyebrows frowned before Open his mouth to call her but an nurse stopped infront of him with reports.

After an hour later aarohi scrolling through her phone while walking toward the exit of the hospital ritu already left the hospital as she had a important work. 

She lost in her phone when a throat clear noice make her look up from her phone, there was he rajdeep who was standing infront of her crossing his arms.

"So my baby girl forget me hmm?" Aarohi's heart skip a beat after hearing his voice and nickname after years later.

'It's nothing like that." She defend hiding her expression she walked past him before he could ask further questions.

She exhale deeply as she stepped out of the hospital,

she walked towards the parking lot but suddenly an hand wrapped around her arm and pinned her against the nearest wall.

Aarohi let out a suprise noice her eyes wind when she saw rajdeep her heart beat race fast.

"Wh.. what are you doing?" She whispered nervously but a bike ride with light speed.

"Don't use your phone when you're walking outside." He said looking down at her. " The bike probably hit you if didn't come time."

She blinked processing his words

her eyes soft slightly when she notice how he maintains the respectful distance between them.

Pulled back and she let out a breath she didn't notice she was holding.

I...she tried to protest but he cut off her words with. " Let's go i drop you."

Aarohi immediately shak her head. " No need i have my car." She replied look at him.

He looks at her briefly and then nodded. " Fine but be careful next time." He said she responded with nodded before walking away from him.

In the way of home her mind drafted back to him despite of herself in this four years she make herself distance from him or atleast she tried to behave like that.

After she reached home she went directly to her bedroom got freshen up she walked downstairs.

niharika was talking on the call and vany was giving some instructions to servants aarohi walk towards them in confussion.

"What are you planning for?" She asked in confussion as niharika hang up the phone.

"Guest coming for dinner." Niharika responded softly

"But who?"She asked but the phone ring again.

Aaru get ready at 8 pm Okay?"  Niharika said and moved to respond, aarohi just nodded and head back to her bedroom.

She tried to distract herself from his thoughts so she moved to her closet and started looking for outfit the dinner have time but she need distract herself for now.

At 8 pm she descend the stairs wearing a pink suit her hair half tie with a flower clip her wrists adoring with gold bangles a small black tika between in her eyebrows making her eyes look beautiful.

'Hayee meri poti kitni Sundar lag rahi hai." Niharika exclaimed adoring looking at aarohi, aarohi smiled her cheeks flushed slightly.

Translate:- Oh my God my granddaughter looking so beautiful .

Aarohi giggled softly while vany smiled. " You're looking pretty." She said from the kitchen,

Vikram entry in the living room a small warm smile apeard on his face as he saw aarohi. " My princess looking even more pretty tonight,

He's voice warm with adoration

aarohi's smile wind even more.

The door bell ring shattering the peaceful moment.

" I think they come." Niharika moved to open the door. Aarohi stop her. " I'll check."

Aarohi walked towards the door and open it her jaw drop in suprise after seeing maheshwari family infront of her door,Vikram stand beside aarohi welcoming the maheshwari family.

As his family entry in the living room they settled on the couch their conversation started.

But she stand beside the couch her eyes looking for him despite all the efforts she was doing to ignore him, a relief spread in her chest as she saw him entering in.

she immediately look away before he could even notice,

He stopped infront of her and lean down to match her eyes level.

"Hello baby girl." He whispered gently while their both family looking at them.
