Author's pov....
The college bell rang, releasing a sudden rush of voices into corridor.
Laughter echoed footsteps hurried,
But aarohi walked out quietly, adjusting the strap of her bag on her shoulder.
While her friends spoke about plans and coffee breaks, her thoughts were already elswhere.
Outside the gate, the car waited she wave Goodbye to her friends and slide into the backseat, closing the door with soft click. The engine started, and the City moved past the window in blurred motion.
She was going to the hospital_collect her grandmother's medical reports.
The building stood tall and white, smelling antiseptic and pateint. At the reception desk she flied out the required details, handed over the slip, and waited.
beside her bench a little boy playing with his toy, as she was waiting she saw a familiar figure walking toward her direction,
Her heart skips a beat as she notice its rajveer her eyes light up without even realization.
Rajdeep didn't notice her as he was to busy checking some pepars in his hands, a soft pout form on aarohi's lips as her presence gets unnotice by him.
Suddenly a idea strike she stands up from the bench and and walks towards him but her heel cought the edge of the rug, she stumbled forword, her arms flaling for balance but the world titled too fast.
With soft thud, she hit the floor. Pain flared in forehead and scraped her hand against the wonden floor. She hissed softly, biting her lip. Trying not to cry out.
She played this but the pain was too much for her.
The sound of small accident made him finally look up from the pepars, his eyes widened and he rushed over.
"Aarohi! Are you okay?"
She blinked surprised that he was suddenly there, a satisfied warmth spreading through her chest despite of the pain.
" I'm fine," she murmured, through her forehead throbbed and her hand was already starting to sting.
He knelt beside her, concern written across his face. "Your forehead.....let me see."
Hospital's other people staring at the scene with curious gaze and it makes aarohi's face red with embarrassment and uncomfortable.
Rajdeep notice her embarrassment and uncomfort he give sharp look every person who was staring at her,
Everyone looks away immediately at his sharp look, he turn to face her and gently help her to stand up he guided her to his cabin.
As they entered in his cabin he makes her sit on the small couch near his desk before turning to get a aid kit box, aarohi sat quietly there her hands resting on her lap, her plm stung.
Her forehead ached dully he returned with small first aid kit he sit beside her leaving respectful space between them.
He opening it he worked with carefully focus, deliberately ignoring to hurt her wound accidentally.
"This might sting a little." He warned quietly while aarohi admiring him secretly it's exactly what she wanted his attention but why this desperately? The question was eating her alive she wasn't like this before then why now but a part of her was happy to having his attention all over her.
She smiled looking at his face forgetting all her pain as she lost in his eyes, rajdeep didn't notice her expression his focus fixed on treating her wounds just like any other patients he would.
He taped the bandage gently and stood up to tend her forehead, dabbing it carefully the room felt smaller somehow for aarohi the sudden proximity the room filled with things she couldn't placed not yet.
"There," he said after a moment. " You ll be fine."
She pulled out of her thoughts at his voice she blinked and look up at him briefly, and then nodded there was something flikred in her eyes that he didn't notice by him.
"Thank you so much," she whispered shyly her heart beat racing fast, he just chuckled softly and ruffled her hair like a little girl. " No need to thanks baby girl."
"The baby" nickname make her heart skipped a beat and cheeks flushed slightly.

After taking her grandmother's report rajdeep helped her to the parking lot where's his car, her father tell him to drop her home safely after knowing she got little bit wounds.
He makes her sit in the passenger seat
As she settled in the car, he gently close the door and walked around to get in the driving seat.
"You don't have to drop me" She said as he started the car engine,
You can't even walk straight how will you manage to go home alone?"He's eyes fixed stright on the road, "and your father gives me responsibility to take you home so I can't take any chance to dispoinment him."
She says sighs softly, look out of the window.
We're meeting after too many years later." He said looking at her before focusing on the road.
She nodded "I don't even know when i last saw you." Her eyes drop on his hands that holding stering wheel the way it grip when he takes turn or take drift.
By the way where you have been?" She asked.
Ā "i was out of City for my studies, that's we didn't meet all this years." He responded the City moved behind as the car reached infront of her hous.
Rajdeep help her to step out of the car
And hold her bag as they moved towards the main door.
The main door open reveling her mother vany's eyes winded in concern as she noticed aarohi's bandes on her palms and ached forehead.
"Ohh god".... Vany reached to check on aarohi.
"You can't take care yourself properly?" She scolded with concern Unnoticed rajdeep presence, who's standing just behind aarohi.
Aarohi head drops down in embarrassment her cheeks flushed slightly.
Vany about to scold aarohi rajdeep clear his thoughts announcing his presence.
Vany paused at the throat clear noice and looks behind aarohi her eyes winded in suprise after seeing him.
" Rajdeep beta." She voice surprised and rajdeep chuckled softly and nodded before touching her feet to take blessings.
Aarohi sign in relief as she save from the scoldeding session her cheeks still flushed with embarrassment.
Her eyes soft even more as she notice him interacting with her mother respectively.
