Aarohi's pov.....

Aaru, let's go hum let ho rahe hai." Dadi's voice come from downstairs. She was waiting for me from half an hour but i couldn't find my phone I don't know where i forget.

"Coming." I responded softly and i scanned the room again. suddenly my eyes drop on dressing table and there is my phone. Like seriously?" it's often happened to me I put things somewhere and scan every corner except the one.

With soft sighs i walked over the dressing table and grab my phone before running downstairs. Not before checking my reflection in mirror I wore a black top that hugging my curve properly and white jeans.

As i reach in the living room And there is she, my beautiful dadi who was waiting for me patiently.

I rushed to her and hug her quakly she stamble back from my sudden hug. But chuckled softly and respond my hug gently.

"Let's go we were getting late. She said pulling back and i nodded in response. We walk out of the house, our waiting car was already ready.

I open the car door for my dadi as she stepped inside the car i closed the door and get in the car as well.

Driver uncle start the car and pulled the car from parking lot. The journey home to hospital was peaceful and little talks our conversation.

As we reached hospital i stepped out of the car and walked around my grandmother's side open the door.

We went inside the hospital, the hospital smelled faintly of antiseptic and coffee, clean, families, and slightly overwhelming. I walked beside my dadi.

As we reached the waiting area of the cardiologist department,we waited outside for our turn.

Bhai already take appointment last night, so we just had to come here for dadi's regular check up.

After waiting for few minutes, the doctor called us, we walked inside.

The doctor greeted us with polite smile.

"Namaste dadi and aarohi." The Doctor said politely

" Namaste." Dadi and i greeted back softly yet politely.

"Please take seat." The Doctor said pointing his hand toward chair opposite from his table.

We took our seat, and the doctor uncle asks dadi questions about her health.

Author's pov .....

Sometimes later aarohi Walked in the hallway as her father come to the hospital, after finishing his work quickly.

despite he said he can't yesterday, she was getting bore so she decided to take a round around the hospital until her dadi's check up done.

As she was roaming around. " aarohi beta tum yaha?" A familiar voice makes her pause in mid track, she turn around and saw Nikhil.

Nikhil's mother and aarohi's grandmother they're best friend's and they are families close to each other from years.

"Yeah uncle dadi ke check up ke liye aaye hua." She responded as Nikhil approch her.

"Check up? For what everything is fine?" He asked with concern.

"Yes uncle everything is fine." She rescused softly as she noticed the concern in Nikhil's tone.

"It just a regular check up nothing serious." She said, and he nodded in response.

How are you?" He asked gently.

"I'm good uncle." She replied.

" How are you?" She asked back.

I'm good beta." He replied as they both continue, talking suddenly a Deep voice come from behind nikhil they both turn around and there was a tall man.

he was wearing a doctor coat sharp jaw, Hazel eyes, and dark hair that's looking like he ran his hand through his hair many times. He approch Nikhil with soft smile.

he didn't notice aarohi who is staring at him with winded eyes everything as if the world stop around, her eyes drinking sight of him.

Her heart skipped a beat, something shift inside her without even realization.

"Papa you forgot your phone in my cabin." He said, he extended the phone to Nikhil.

Nikhil take the phone from his son rajdeep, They talk about something for minutes.

Aarohi lost in her thoughts her eyes still looking at rajdeep with softness and something else she couldn't find a name to give not yet.

She snapped out of her thoughts as familiar voice called her name, she blinked and turn around to see Nikhil looking at her.

"Aarohi." Nikhil called again. "meet my son rajdeep." Nikhil said with pointing his hand towards rajveer who was looking at her.

She blinked and clear her throat trying to push the strange feeling, she was feeling after seeing rajveer.

"And rajdeep meet aarohi." Nikhil introduced, aarohi to rajdeep softly,

He's phone rang so he moved away from them to take the call giving them privacy.

She swallow Hard and turn around rajveer with soft and polite smile despite the sudden nervousness.

"Hello aarohi." he said gently looking down at her, Extending his hand toward her.

Her heart flutter at his soft tone her small hand reached to Shak with his large hand him. He gently shak her hand before pulling away.

Aarohi feels a sudden strange dispoinment as she lost his warmth of hand, his touch still lingering on her hand she pulled her hand behind her back. Without getting noticed.

"So how old are you?" Rajdeep asked softly looking down at her

I'm... I'm 20 years old." She responded quietly yet nervously her heart pounding in her chest unexpectedly

20 so you are college student?" Rajdeep asked.

She nodded slowly in response. " What about you?" She asked softly trying to make conversation.

"I'm 26 years baby girl." Rajdeep responded,and chuckled gently as he noticed her nervousness.

her cheeks flushed slightly at his chuckled.

26?" She reapeated herself her voice above whispered, and he nodded slowly in response.

"No need to nervous baby girl."

He said before adding. " I won't bit you." He lean down to match her eyes level, making her heart skipped a beat unintentionally.

Her cheeks turn into dark red at the nickname he called her,

"I'm not nervous ." She said, tone defensive.

Ohh really?" He chuckled and ruffled her hair gently He straight up, and turned to his father Who just hung up his call and Walking over them.

She is grow up huh?" Rajdeep said with soft smile he remembers when he meets her last time when she was seven years old, a girl playing around the house.

Nikhil smiles slightly and nodded looking at aarohi and then him.

" Yes she is, He check his phone and look at his son." I have to go bye."

He said and turned to Aarohi with gently smile. " Bye aarohi beta, say namaste to dadi, i have a urgent work so i have to go I'll meet dadi and you some day.

Aarohi nodded slowly understanding the urgency. " Bye uncle."

Nikhil nodded with soft smile before leaving.

Rajdeep turn to her and about to say something, when Niharika her dadi approach them with smile.

"Rajdeep beta." Niharika called softly standing infront of them.

"Dadi." Rajdeep greeted gently lean down to touch her feets and take her blessing. Niharika smile and put her hand on his back of head gently.

"Khush raho beta." She said, rajdeep always known for a his soft and respectful behaviour.

Rajdeep straightened his white coat. " How are you?" He asked softly.

"I'm good." Niharika responded softly.

"What about you?" She asked back.

Before he could respond a nurse Rushed to him panick written all over her face. " Dr rajdeep there is emergency." She said urgently.

rajdeep nodded and turned to Niharika and aarohi with apologitic look. " I'm sorry both of you but i have to go."

"It's alright beta, go." Niharika said softly patting his shoulder gently. He nodded before leaving from there with nurse.

Aarohi watch his figure disappear, her eyes fixed where he disappear for moment before turning back to her dadi.

"Let's go your father is waiting for us in the car." Niharika said softly looking at aarohi who responded with nod her mind somewhere else.
